Scotcharoo Blondies
This is a great mix of a butterscotch rice crispy treat and a blondie. After baking it has the crunch and chew that is expected from this combination. The butterscotch comes through nicely with just the right amount of blondie. A few bittersweet chocolate pieces make a nice surprise too.
I am continuing to bake my way through 100 Afternoon Sweets by Sarah Kieffer in 2026. Chapter 2 is Brownies, Blondies, and Bars.
